Welcome to our website. By browsing this website or accepting a quotation from The Paint Team, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of service.
1. Quotations and Pricing
- All written quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Quotes are based on a visual inspection of the property. If hidden issues are discovered during preparation (such as blown plaster, hidden damp, or rotten timber), we will discuss these with you immediately. Any additional remedial work required will be agreed upon and added as a variation to the final invoice.
- Any extra work requested by the client after the project has commenced will be priced separately and added to the final total.
2. Deposits and Payments
- A deposit of 25% or payment for materials is required to secure your booking slot and confirm your start date.
- The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the work.
- Payments must be made via [e.g., Bank Transfer / Cash].
- All materials supplied remain the property of The Paint team services until the final invoice is paid in full.
3. Cancellations and Postponements
- We require at least 7 days' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your project.
- If you cancel your booking with less than the required notice, your deposit will be non-refundable to cover lost working days and business running overheads.
4. Working Conditions & Client Preparation
- Property Clearance: The client must remove all small personal items, ornaments, electronics, and breakables from the rooms being decorated before our arrival.
- Heavy Furniture: Large items of furniture should be moved to the center of the room. We will fully protect these and the flooring with professional, heavy-duty dust sheets.
- Liability: While we take the utmost care, we cannot be held liable for accidental damage to personal belongings that were left in the designated workspace against this guidance.
- Facilities: The client must provide access to running water, electricity, and toilet facilities for the duration of the project.
5. Professional Standards & Insurance
- All work is completed by a City & Guilds Level 2 qualified professional to high trade standards.
- The Paint Team maintains full Public Liability Insurance up to the value of [e.g., £1,000,000 / £2,000,000]. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.
